Due to this, Sage never knew who is father was and his mother didn't quite show him the love and affection he desired as a child being that he was essentially unplanned and unwanted in her eyes. Sage spent a lot of time on his own as he grew up. His mother worked long hours to make sure there was food on the table for them and clothes on his back at least so he rarely saw her unless it was at dinner time.As he grew older, and was able to do little odd jobs around Mehryde's Meyhane where his mother worked, he saw the way that she was ogled at by both men and women alike and wondered if that was the reason she was so distant to her own son. He assumed the love and attention of these people was more desirable to her and the bitter feeling in his heart grew a bit larger. What was it like to have that love and affection that he was neglected so by his own mother in favor of it...?In his adult years, he stopped seeking his mother's love, easily distancing himself from her and moving into his own place, as she was pretty much a stranger who kept him alive in his eyes.Just as his mother had, however, Sage sought love and affection in any form from others who are willing to give it. He was not open at all to returning it for reasons he was not quite sure of himself. He has broken many hearts due to this and some days he wondered if he is just like his parents in that regard. It's something he battled with constantly in his head. But he would constantly tells himself that it's fine if people are willing to give their love to him so freely despite him being unwilling to reciprocate.More recently in his life, Sage has had some extensive growth due to enduring heartache of his own. On top of that, he has become estranged from his mother. But has finally made a connection with his father who had not known Sage had existed until recently. The viera has made a home for himself in Radz-at-han, one that he shares with his lover, Helios.Sage has worked towards healing his emotional wounds and as a result is sweeter to a degree. Naturally, there is still some internal healing to be done, but the resentment he held close to his heart is nothing but a small flame, now.Personality: Street smart, confident, and a bit of a flirt. Sage likes to have chit-chats with people about anything, really and likes engaging in conversations. He can come off a bit bossy in some situations because he is quite comfortable being the one in charge.
